However since the birth of modern science and technology, the true nature of universe has been known and at this point of time, universe is so huge that our hearts are f...。1846年夏季的一天，澳门海岸上来了十几个衣衫不整、疲惫不堪的人。他们是刚被葡萄牙女王任命为澳门总督的沙瓦德（马蒂尼饰）和随行人员，刚经历过一场海难。突然一伙黑布蒙面人执弓拔刀不由分说，将其携带的大部分鸦片和装有女王的任命书的皮箱一兵掳走，扬长而去。原来他们碰上了澳门有名的海盗杜海龙（吴毅将饰）。沙瓦德怒不可遏，发誓上任以后要报仇。上岸后，发现来到一个华人渔村，一个院子里发出喧哗声音，他们闻声寻去。 这一天，澳门望厦村长林春方正在给自己的小儿子阿明过18岁的生日，大儿子林伟良（谢君豪饰）和未婚妻水莲（秦岚饰）帮助操办，场面煞是热闹，正高兴间，沙瓦德的部下卡洛斯率葡兵进来，蛮横地要搜寻被劫走的鸦片和皮箱，双方发生激烈冲突。阿明跑出向清政府驻望厦衙署官员王韬报告求助，却一去不回，神秘失踪。。。。。 这是一部讲述1849年发生在澳门的那段鲜为人知、悲壮惨烈的故事。。
