故事讲述的是一个有梦想有个性的歌手厉娜，在遇到音乐及感情双重困难时，被一首简单的歌所打动，最后知晓原因，原来美丽的音乐来自歌舞之乡新疆，突然触动了她的创作激情。为了音乐她在没有告知任何人的情况下，独自开车，一路问询来到了新疆。。在续篇《蝼蛄》中，黑道桑原（北村一辉饰）和建筑顾问二宫（滨田岳饰）从宗教法人的绯闻中找到发横财的机会，开始了与恶人之间展开大战。。A traveling cellist gets involved with two disturbed sisters on their way to Seattle to tell their mom that their dad has just passed away. On the way, the two kill a judge and a few others unknown to the cellist. Eventually he gets pinned for the crimes and is forced to defend himself.。
