本剧在漫画作者的监修下，讲述了包含许多原创要素的“天狗的后裔”们一个夏天的故事。这次也会产生新的邂逅。15岁的昂与在都市长大的14岁少年的相遇，与为了夏日祭典从京都来的有意的哥哥慈雨再会，在作物自给自足的过程中出现的自然威胁…。每集以中醫醫理、西方醫學的角度，細談不同的生理與心理病症，包括都市病、流行性疾病，還會因應不同病症，帶來業界最新或最有科學根據的治療方案，讓觀眾參考。節目亦邀請本人(或其親朋)曾患上該病症的藝人，以「過來人」身分，訴說患病和康復的心路歷程。。Imagine growing up in a Soho loft in the late 1970s and falling asleep to the sounds of your mother wielding a chainsaw in the next room.
